| The heart and sole of any non-profit organization are its volunteers; and the Yachting Section is no different. In order to keep expenses and fees to a minimum, volunteers are required to perform many functions in running our section. The Yachting Executive are all volunteers - consider running for a position and enjoy the satisfaction of helping out fellow members while getting some great experience as a member of an Executive Committee. All of the Social functions and Cruises also require volunteer help; from phoning and promotion to pouring wine and carving roast lambs - so please contact your Cruising Officer or Entertainment Officer to lend a hand. From time to time there are work parties organized to look after beautification projects on the docks, clubhouse maintenance, and other various and sundry projects that come up in the course of running a Club such as ours. Contact your Staff Captain to pitch in. We've all enjoyed the benefits of belonging to this great Club in its spectacularly beautiful location, and we really do need your help.
