Facilities

Workshop, Mast Tower, Mast Room and Tide Grid are available to members only.

Washrooms and (free) showers are on the lower (seawall) level of the clubhouse. A security access card is required to access the building and further access to the secure shower area.

Household garbage must be disposed in the garbage shed located by the VRC parking lot.  This service is free. Please do not leave garbage on the docks, in the workshop, or on the seawall; this poses a risk to the large wildlife population in the park.

Absolutely NO petroleum products, solvents, batteries etc. are to be disposed of on our facilities.

Wheelbarrows are located on the docks behind the gate. Due to the limited number, please return them promptly after use.

There are licenced lounges in the club where refreshments and foods are available. The "Members Bar" is open Tuesday through Sunday. Check with the office for hours of operation.

Ice is available on the deck near the top of the ramp for $3.00 per block. See the club office to sign out an ice machine key.  The ice is on an honour system so please honour our system.

No open fires or charcoal barbeques are permitted on the docks.

Pets

Pets must be kept on a leash at all times while on the premises. Please clean up any accidents promptly.

Sewage

The VRC has a state-of-the-art sewage pump-out system that provides pump-out capabilities at every slip in the moorage. Please use your holding tank while at the dock. Check with the office for instructions on use of the system.

Power

All power receptacles are 30 amp recepticles, however the majority of them are still limited to 20 amp service. The office can advise what is available at your assigned slip.

Security

We get a lot of walk-by tourist traffic in this area, and to ensure the security of the moorage, gates to the docks must be kept closed. Please escort your guests to and from the club and do not allow unknown persons access.  Please refer them to the office.
