Moorage at the Vancouver Rowing Club is available to active VRC Yachting members only and is assigned with regard to membership seniority in the Yachting Section. The current annual Yachting membership fee is $343.60 (pro-rated to September for new members) plus a $100 outstation acquisition assessment (Not pro-rated). The moorage year runs from April 1st - March 31st. All moorage is paid on an annual basis (a quarterly payment option is available upon renewal). Moorage may be canceled with 30 days notice for a full refund.

Moorage Rate 2010/2011

$8.11/foot/month (greater of boat or berth length)

Electricity

$173 / year (20 amp service)  or   $241.20 / year (30 amp service)

(GST will be added)

All moorage members are required to post a $1,000 moorage deposit, that will be held for the term or their moorage. Deposits will be refunded upon vacating moorage; a minimal interest rate will apply (currently 0%).

Requirements for boats seeking new moorage:

• Proof of Membership
• Proof of Ownership (must show all owners) (All owners must be Yachting Members)
• Proof of Insurance
• Current VRC Safety Inspection certificate (there are several authorized members who can complete an inspection. Inquire at the office).
