MOORAGE INFORMATION

Moorage at the Vancouver Rowing Club is available to active VRC Yachting members only and is assigned with regard to membership seniority in the Yachting Section. The current annual Yachting membership fee is $377.25 (pro-rated to September for new members). The moorage year runs from April 1st - March 31st. All moorage is paid on an annual basis (a quarterly payment option is available upon renewal). Moorage may be canceled with 30 days notice for a full refund.

Moorage Rate 2009/10

$8.11/foot/month (greater of boat or berth length)

Electricity

$173.00/year for 20 amp service or $241.20/year for 30 amp service (+ GST)

All moorage members are required to post a $1,000 moorage deposit, that will be held for the term or their moorage. Deposits will be refunded upon vacating moorage; a minimal interest rate will apply (currently 0%).

Requirements for boats seeking new moorage:

• Proof of Ownership
• Proof of Insurance
• Current Coastguard safety inspection certificate (there are several Coastguard Auxilliary members who can do an inspection. Inquire at the office).

Proof of Ownership must accompany all moorage applications. Please note, all partners must also be current VRC Yachting members.

Current waitlist on +32' boats is expected to be approximately 16 - 36 months.
