VRC’s rowing section offers an annual membership, renewing in April each year. For new members joining mid-year, the fees are pro-rated. The membership schedule of categories and fees can be viewed below. We offer both competitive and recreational rowing programs for approximately 200 members with a variety of shells, both sweep and scull. Previous rowing experience is required to join. People with no rowing experience are invited to join our Learn to Row program. To Apply: 1. Submit your completed Membership Application Form to the Vice-Captain Membership. 2. Your application will be reviewed promptly and you will be contacted for an on-water skills evaluation. 3. Your application request will be presented and reviewed at the monthly rowing section executive meeting. You will receive a reply within two days of the meeting as to the result of your application.
