VRC Membership dues are comprised of two main components:

  • Club Dues which are set by the Board of Directors and apply equally to all members.  These dues allow members access to the weight room, showers and club lounges.
  • Sports Section Affiliation Fees which are set by the individual Section Executives.  These dues allow members access to the sport specific areas and equipment.

    Rowing
    The founding sport of the Vancouver Rowing Club continues its tradition of athletic ecxellence. VRC celebrates an impressive internation record, placing athletes on Canada’s Olympic, Pan American and Commonwealth Games teams.

    Rugby
    VRC fielded its first rugby team in 1908, a group of rowers wanting competition in the offseason.
    Currently three senior and one junior team compete in local league rivalry.
    Join the VRC Rowers, former BC Provincial Champions, and tour wherever fine rugby is found.

    Yachting
    Set sail for cruises, summer regattas, dockside barbecues, and the Commodore’s Dinner Dance. Affiliated with major boating associations, yachters compete in local ind international races.   Reciprocity with other clubs brings sailors from around the world.  To apply please submit the Yachting Section Quesionnaire along with completed club application form, two sponsor letters from members of the club who have been members for more than 12 months and payment of dues (may be pro-rated at time of application).

    Field Hockey
    VRC Jokers welcome players of skill levels from novice to Olympic calibre. With teams in all league divisions of men's and women's hockey, jokers take pride in their combination of social and competitive hockey.

    Social Membership
    VRC offers social membership to walkers, joggers and runners who enjoy the trails and seawall just steps from our clubhouse in Stanley Park.  Social members are also welcome to utilize the club's member lounges and workout facility.  Social Members are not directly associated with any of the sections and are not entitled to vote at club meetings.

     

    GST will be added to all club dues (as well as other mandatory sports association fees where applicable)
