VRC’s rowing section offers an annual membership, renewing in April each year. For new members joining
mid-year, the fees are prorated. The membership schedule of categories and fees
can be viewed below. We offer both competitive and recreational rowing programs
for approximately 200 members with a variety of shells, both sweep and scull.
Previous rowing experience is required to join. People with no rowing experience
are invited to join our Learn
to Row program.
To Apply:
1. Submit your completed Membership Application Form to the Vice-Captain
Membership.
2. Your application will be reviewed promptly and you will be contacted for an
on water skills evaluation.
3. Your application request will be presented and reviewed at the monthly rowing section executive meeting. You will receive a reply within two days of the meeting as to the result of your application.
